About Michelle
I am a newly married twenty something year-old and live in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been running recreationally for a few years now, and have completed four half marathons and one full marathon. Sometimes I run with my Weimaraner Ada, who is a frequent guest on the blog.
I used to chase ambulances professionally – I was a lawyer (including personal injury), but as you can see from the blog name, I never had a problem taking myself too seriously. After deciding I wanted to make a career out of writing and not out of making everyone pissed off (but seriously, there were a lot of reasons), I moved on. That was in 2008-2009. I am now a technical writer at a large St. Louis-based company.
I like writing about healthy living, unhealthy living, food, and fitness. Follow me along while I write about these things here at chasingambulances!

Random facts about myself – and a gratuitous picture of the Truffle Shuffle
More random facts about myself – don’t worry, I like to write about myself so there will be no shortage of this kind of thing.
My story – my struggle with eating disorder and where I stand now
